Full Video: Mayweather Defeats Mcgregor By 10th Round TKO In Las Vegas

FLOYD Mayweather has outclassed Conor McGregor in a 10th-round TKO victory in their megafight in their money-spinning Las Vegas superfight.
The fight went much longer than expected as UFC star McGregor — on his boxing debut — had the better of the early running.
But 40-year-old former welterweight boxing champion Mayweather, who had emerged from a two-year retirement to take on the Irishman, dominating from the fourth round.
The end came with a tired McGregor doubled over on the ropes as Mayweather landed two hard left hooks, prompting referee Robert Byrd to intervene and declare a technical knockout.
But Mayweather wore him down as the Irishman fatigued before the referee stopped the fight almost two minutes into the 10th round.
Mayweather extended his boxing record to a perfect 50-0 and paid tribute to McGregor after the fight.
“He’s a tough competitor and I think we gave the fans what they wanted to see,” Mayweather said.
“He’s a lot better than I thought he was. Used a lot of different angles. He’s a tough competitor but I was better tonight.”
Mayweather confirmed this was his final boxing fight.
McGregor paid tribute to Mayweather but felt he held his own.
He criticised the referee for stopping the fight, despite it looking only a matter of time before he was knocked out.
“He’s not the fast, he’s not the powerful but boy is he composed,” McGregor said of Mayweather.
“I had a bit a fun. I thought it was close and I thought it was a little early the stoppage … There’s a lot on the line here he should have let me keep going.
“(He should have) let him put me down.
“I was just a little fatigued … But I thought it was close. He was a lot more composed under the shots. Earlier on, I thought it was handy enough to be honest.”
