Sport: Bayern Munich To Sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

According to a report from Mundo Deportivo this evening, German giants Bayern Munich have entered the race for Borussia Dortmund star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, as they prepare for the possibility that Robert Lewandowski could leave the club.

Unthinkable
While the possibility of Lewandowski departing the Allianz Arena had previously been viewed as near-impossible, recent statements on the part of the striker and his agent that the Pole was deeply upset by the failure of his teammates to help him capture the Bundesliga top-scorer award have thrown his future into doubt.
Suitors
Chelsea, Manchester United and Real Madrid have all been credited with an interest in the former Dortmund star, though any potential deal would likely require a monumental fee.
Backup plan

Nevertheless, as per the aforementioned report from Mundo Deportivo, Bayern have this evening added themselves to the ever-growing list of clubs to have registered an interest in Dortmund star man Aubameyang, who, ironically, was the man to beat Lewandowski to the top-scorer award in this year’s German top flight.
A 70 million Euro fee is thought to be required for the services of Aubameyang, with all of PSG, Liverpool, Real Madrid and Manchester City also maintaining an interest in the free-scoring Gabon international.
